Lake Sommen is a clearwater lake in southern Sweden. When the conditions are perfect you can, in some parts of the lake, see a perch that is swimming on 10 metres depth! There are a lot of things you can do and look at around this beautiful lake, and if you want to have an indroduction to both nature and culture - come to naturum Sommen! Entrance is free and we are looking forward to answer your questions.

We offer some of our tours in English. If you are interested, please contact us for further information!
Prize: 60 SEK/adult, children under 13 free.
We will have eight guided tours with the beautiful and fascinating steam ship Boxholm II during July and parts of August. The tours take two hours and depart from naturum Sommen, Malexander or Hätte (close to Tranås). For more information, contact Tranås Tourist Office 0140 - 687 90.
Prize: 200 SEK/adult, 75 SEK for children 7-15 years old. Make reservation in advance to make sure there are space left.
